Service Care Solutions have an
exciting
opportunity to join a landscaping company based in Preston who have a permanent position for a Landscape Gardener.
Covering the Preston and Surrounding areas, we are seeking a gardener who is ideally experienced with both soft and hard landscaping.
Key duties will include:
Landscape construction – hard and soft landscape
Labouring work for hard landscape construction and artificial grass installation/patio installation and flagging.
Soft landscaping construction work including – planting of trees, shrubs, beds and borders; seeding, turfing,
practical gardening tasks including pest and disease control, weed control.
Grounds maintenance works on both commercial and domestic contracts
Communicate with manager and colleagues
Communicate with key client staff and external contractors where necessary.
Maintain a positive and professional approach
Compliance with statutory regulations including H & S regulations
Use own initiative to satisfy client contracted needs
Solve problems in a safe manner and escalate any necessary issue to the Line Manager
Skills/Qualifications required for this role:
Interest in landscaping and horticulture
Self-motivated and good work ethic
Willingness to
learn new skills
Physically fit
Good interpersonal skills
Team worker
Full UK Driving Licence
This is a full-time role working from 7:30am till 5pm Monday to Friday with an
immediate start available
