About Granite Hills Group
Granite Hills Group (GHG) is the newly-named landscaping company formed in 2021 by the merger of Land Care Innovations (Charlotte, NC), Ground Works (Raleigh, NC), and Sodfather (Greenville-Spartanburg, SC). This partnership is the platform from which GHG will become the dominant landscape company in the Southeast while retaining the culture of a family-owned business. Each branch has a landscape construction division and maintenance division and as such provides turnkey landscaping services from project groundbreaking through ongoing maintenance.
Job Description
We are seeking landscape Crew Members/Drivers to add to our team in Charlotte, NC.
* The requirements of the position are highlighted below.*
Valid driver’s license and a good driving record for the last 3 years.
Employees work in the field and should be prepared to work outdoors in varied weather, including rain and heat.
The work is physically demanding, and employees must be able to lift at least 50 pounds, as well as stand, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the day.
Experience is a plus, but not required.
Tasks include:
Using hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and pruning saws; operating powered equipment such as mowers, chainsaws, string trimmers, and hedge trimmers; watering plants using portable sprinkler systems, hoses, or water cans; gathering and removing litter; and other related landscape activities.
