Apex Scientific is seeking a motivated and technically competent Laboratory Equipment Sales Representative to join our Gauteng team. Key Responsbilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Conduct regular customer visits throughout Gauteng and surrounding regions, including Limpopo and Mpumalanga.
- Identify new sales opportunities and generate business growth within assigned territories.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and tender submissions.
- Present and demonstrate laboratory equipment and scientific solutions to customers.
- Discuss products and applications at a technical level with scientists, researchers, laboratory managers, and procurement personnel.
- Perform product installations, commissioning, and customer training.
- Attend exhibitions, conferences, workshops, and trade shows representing Apex Scientific.
- Deliver technical presentations to research groups, laboratories, and industry stakeholders.
- Manage key accounts and provide ongoing support to customers.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities using the company’s CRM system.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and KPI requirements.
- Collaborate with internal sales, service, and product specialist teams to ensure excellent customer service.

Minimum Requirements:
- BSc in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Science, or a related scientific discipline. Equivalent scientific qualifications will also be considered.
- Experience working with scientific instrumentation, laboratory equipment, or biotechnology products.
- Strong technical understanding of laboratory and scientific equipment.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships with scientists, researchers, and laboratory personnel.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
