We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess the skills necessary to provide a safe and nurturing environment for pets. As a Kennel Technician, you will be responsible for the daily care of animals in our facility, ensuring their health and well-being while maintaining cleanliness and organization.

Responsibilities
- Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercising.
- Monitor the health and behavior of pets, reporting any concerns to management staff.
- Maintain cleanliness of kennels, play areas, and other facility spaces.
- Ensure all animals are handled safely and humanely.
- Maintain accurate records of animal care activities.
- Support pet owners with information about pet care and facility services.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive environment for both pets and staff.
Experience
- Familiarity with animal practices or as a kennel technician is a plus.
- Skills in pet grooming, or pet sitting are advantageous.
- A background in kennel operations or as a veterinary assistant is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

– Supervise and interact with dogs in a daycare setting
– Ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs in your care
– Engage dogs in playtime activities and provide mental stimulation
– Feed, water, and administer medications as needed
– Maintain cleanliness of play areas, kennels, and facility
– Assist in bathing and grooming tasks
Requirements:
– Strong customer service skills with pet owners
– Ability to handle various dog breeds and sizes with confidence
– Knowledge of animal behavior and basic dog training techniques is a plus
– Comfortable with handling
– Ability to lift heavy objects as needed ( lift up to 50 pounds, hold up to 100 pounds, ect.)
-Reliable phone and transportation to work
-Willing to work outside for all seasons
