Saving with Soul Pet Rescue is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and experienced team member to join our night shift team.
Location: Baker, FL
Hours: 20-25 hours (could expand to more in the future)
Shift: Typically 3:00PM-9:00PM
Weekends are REQUIRED.
This position is an important part of our daily operations and requires someone who is reliable, takes initiative, communicates effectively, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate:
- Has hands-on dog care experience
- Is dependable and punctual
- Communicates clearly and professionally
- Takes initiative and works independently
- Can multitask and stay organized
- Works well with a team
- Is comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and needs
- Is 18 years of age or older
- Capable of heavy lifting and physically demanding work
Dog care experience is not required but highly preferred. Loving dogs and owning dogs is wonderful, but this role requires prior hands-on experience working with dogs in a professional setting such as a rescue, shelter, boarding facility, daycare, veterinary clinic, grooming facility, training program, or similar environment.
This role is best suited for someone who can think ahead, stay productive without constant direction, and step in where needed. We are looking for a strong team member who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of consistency and attention to detail in animal care.
