Country View Veterinary Clinic is seeking a Kennel Technician to become the next member of our team.
We’re ideally looking to fill a full-time role 4-10s, Monday- Sunday. Your home base will be Country View Veterinary Clinic, and this position may also include coverage at our location in Urbana at Beaumont Animal Clinic.
We’re looking for:
Fast learners who take initiative and are willing to help others
Dependable individuals who have excellent time management skills
Candidates who have prior experience or are eager to begin a career in veterinary medicine
This position is physical and involves a lot of standing, walking, and lifting. Additional responsibilities include:
Animal handling, feeding, and cleaning
Observation of behaviors, and knowing when to alert a veterinarian or technician about a change in one of the patients
Chores throughout the hospital such as cleaning, dishes, restocking, garbage, and laundry
Medication administration
