K9 Clubhouse is currently looking to fill a part time position for kennel attendant. If you like working in a fast paced environment, have experience with dogs and are punctual, reliable and have good work ethic please apply now!
Responsibilities:
– Must be comfortable handling dogs of all breeds and sizes
– Provide daily care and attention to dogs in the kennel
– Feed, water, administer meds and exercise dogs according to their individual needs
– Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and daycare area
– Monitor the health and behavior of dogs and report any concerns to management
– Maintain accurate records of animal care and behaviour
– Update dog owners and mangement with pictures and report cards
– Provide excellent customer service
Qualifications:
– Previous experience working with animals in a professional setting, such as a veterinary clinic or animal shelter
– Knowledge of basic animal care and behavior
– Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately
– Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and staff
– Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks related to animal care
