Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for animals and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring the health and safety of all dogs.
Duties
Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, watering, and exercising.
Maintain cleanliness of play areas, and common spaces to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns.
Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming as needed.
Being affectionate with this loving breed.
Skills
Experience as a Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant is a plus.
Strong animal handling skills with knowledge of pet care practices.
Previous experience in a kennel or animal care facility is preferred.
House cleaning experience also a plus
Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members
A compassionate attitude towards animals combined with a strong work ethic.
Being at work on time and dependable a must.
Follow instructions is also a must.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.98 – $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
