Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Veterinarian role based in Menouf. The Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical care to animals, including performing physical examinations, diagnosing illnesses, developing treatment plans, and administering medications and vaccinations. Daily responsibilities include monitoring patient progress, maintaining accurate medical records, and communicating clearly with animal owners about diagnosis, treatment options, and preventive care. The role also involves collaborating with support staff, ensuring adherence to safety and hygiene standards in clinical areas, and participating in ongoing training and professional development activities. As part of the team, the Veterinarian may assist with community outreach, educational initiatives, and continuous improvement of clinical protocols.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (or equivalent) from an accredited institution and eligibility for relevant licensure or registration.
- Proficiency in animal clinical examination, diagnosis, treatment planning, and routine procedures such as vaccinations and minor surgeries.
- Strong knowledge of veterinary pharmacology, preventive medicine, and animal nutrition.
- Ability to maintain accurate and organized medical records and documentation.
- Effective communication skills for explaining medical conditions and care plans to animal owners in a clear, empathetic manner.
- Capacity to work collaboratively with veterinary technicians, assistants, and other team members in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Commitment to animal welfare, ethical practice, and adherence to safety and infection-control standards.
- Willingness to engage in continuous learning, attend training or courses, and stay updated on advances in veterinary medicine.
- Prior clinical experience in a veterinary hospital or clinic is preferred but not mandatory for highly motivated early-career professionals.
