Trumbull Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced kennel assistant to join our team. Essential job functions will include:
– Walking all dogs
– Cleaning litter boxes
– Properly documenting in files/computer
– Recognizing emergency situations
– Cleaning and disinfecting food/water bowls
– Cleaning all runs and cages properly
– Being able to lift up to 30 pounds
– Being able to take dogs outside for walks throughout the year and in inclement weather
– Record and label all belongings
– Positive interaction with clients
– Being able to work with the treatment team
– Must be able to work without supervision
Must be able to work Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sundays. Please do not apply if you are unable to work these days. Some holidays. Some animal experience necessary.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
