Remote (Based at an approved local secure facility). We work US time zones and ask that you’re available during those hours, even if that means adjusting your schedule.
About The Role
This role exists to detect, contain, and resolve security incidents before they cause lasting damage. The position works primarily asynchronously, coordinating with a team distributed across multiple countries and time zones. Success means threats are identified quickly, contained effectively, and traced back to their root cause. The environment is structured and process-driven, with zero tolerance for errors during active incident response. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, applying established playbooks without constant direct supervision.
What You’ll Do
Lead incident management from initial detection through full resolution.
Analyze threats using security information and event management tools and log analysis platforms.
Execute containment procedures to limit the impact of active security incidents.
Conduct root cause analysis to determine how each incident occurred.
Document incident findings and communicate status using approved communication tools.
What We’re Looking For
Demonstrated experience managing security incidents from detection to closure.
Strong skill in analyzing threats using security information and event management tools.
Proven experience executing containment procedures during active incidents.
Experience conducting root cause analysis following security incidents.
Working knowledge of forensics software and log analysis tools.
Familiarity with incident management platforms and playbook automation.
