We are seeking a Host to join our outstanding team.
Position Overview:
Our hosts are the first point of contact for our clients, embodying the welcoming spirit of our hospital. They greet and assist clients and their pets, manage the flow of appointments, and ensure the highest standards of client service and care are maintained.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Schedule and manage appointments, including special arrangements for surgeries and procedures.
Welcome clients and their pets warmly as they arrive, guiding them to the appropriate waiting area.
Coordinate with veterinary staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lounge and waiting areas.
Assist in handling client inquiries and concerns, providing empathetic and proactive solutions.
Prepare and serve beverages and snacks in the waiting area.
Ensure communication between clients, management, and team members is clear and effective.
Assist in the preparation and processing of client paperwork and records.
Support the veterinary team in managing the daily operations of the hospital.
Adhere to all safety, hygiene, and cleanliness protocols at all times.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Maintain regular attendance in line with the hospital’s standards.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, the ideal candidate must possess the following skills and abilities:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to handle client complaints and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
Proficiency in basic math and computer skills.
Ability to follow instructions in various formats (written, oral, diagram, schedule).
Ability to move efficiently through a busy reception area.
Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred.
Passion for animals and commitment to providing exceptional service.

This position may require a flexible schedule to meet the hospital’s needs, including evenings and weekends.
Compliance with hospital rules and regulations for safe and efficient operations is mandatory.

Pay: $17.00 – $23.00 per hour
