Our client a premier Kenyan retail and lifestyle brand is seeking an experienced and results-driven

to drive overall sales performance, profitability, and market growth across all branches. The role

is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, leading branch teams, optimizing

stock movement and ensuring operational excellence in line with the company’s vision.

Package

  • Gross Salary: KES 300,000 per month
  • Attractive performance-based commission structure and incentives

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
  • Develop and implement countrywide sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Analyse market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activity to identify growth

opportunities.

  • Drive seasonal campaigns (e.g., back-to-school, festive seasons) to maximize sales.
  • Set and monitor branch sales targets and ensure accountability.
  • Branch Performance Management
  • Oversee performance of all branches and ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Identify low-performing branches and implement turnaround strategies.
  • Conduct regular branch visits, audits, and performance reviews.
  • Ensure timely action on sales vs stock reports and red zone branches.
  • Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, coach, and mentor Branch Managers and sales teams.
  • Build a high-performance sales culture focused on results and customer experience.
  • Identify training needs and implement continuous learning programs.
  • Drive staff motivation, discipline, and accountability.
  • Inventory & Stock Management
  • Ensure optimal stock levels across all branches.
  • Drive movement of slow-moving and aged stock (over 90/120 days).
  • Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams for timely replenishment and

consolidation.

  • Minimize stock losses and improve stock turnover.
  • Customer Experience & Brand Growth
  • Ensure excellent customer service standards across all branches.
  • Strengthen brand positioning and in-store experience.
  • Drive customer retention strategies and loyalty initiatives.
  • Financial Management
  • Monitor sales performance against budgets and forecasts.
  • Control operational costs to ensure profitability.
  • Analyse daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and take corrective action.
  • Reporting & Communication
  • Prepare and present sales performance reports to directors.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for business growth.
  • Ensure effective communication between head office and branches.
  • Compliance & Operations
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Maintain operational efficiency across all branches.
  • Oversee implementation of systems, controls, and processes.
