Gardener/Maintenance Agent

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Gardener/Maintenance Agent  to ensure the upkeep and beautification of outdoor and indoor spaces. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining gardens, lawns, and landscaping features, as well as performing general maintenance tasks to keep facilities in top condition.

Key Responsibilities:

Gardening & Landscaping:

Plant, trim, and care for flowers, shrubs, trees, and lawns. Water, fertilize, and weed gardens to maintain healthy plant growth. Mow lawns, trim hedges, and prune plants as needed. Apply pesticides and herbicides when necessary, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines. Maintain irrigation systems and repair as needed. Design and implement seasonal planting and landscaping plans.  General Maintenance:

Perform minor repairs on outdoor fixtures, fences, pathways, and other structures. Ensure the cleanliness of outdoor spaces, including sweeping, raking, and removing debris. Inspect and maintain gardening tools and machinery. Assist with basic facility repairs such as plumbing, painting, or carpentry. Monitor and report any safety hazards or needed repairs to management.  Requirements:

Proven experience as a gardener, landscaper, or maintenance worker. Knowledge of plant care, soil management, and landscaping techniques. Ability to use gardening tools and maintenance equipment (e.g., mowers, trimmers, irrigation systems). Basic knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, and electrical maintenance is a plus. Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions. Strong

attention to detail

and ability to follow safety guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in horticulture or landscaping (preferred but not required). Experience in property or facility maintenance. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment

:

Mostly outdoor work, with occasional indoor maintenance tasks. Exposure to varying weather conditions, dirt, and chemicals (protective gear provided). Requires standing, bending, lifting, and operating machinery.  If you have a passion for gardening and
