Front Desk Lead Receptionist – Upscale Dog Grooming Salon (Granite Bay, CA)

We’re currently seeking a Front Desk Lead Receptionist to join our upscale, cage-free dog grooming salon in Granite Bay, CA. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves animals and thrives in a customer-focused, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Greet clients and pets warmly, checking them in and out for grooming appointments
Answer phone calls and schedule appointments with accuracy and professionalism
Process payments, including credit card transactions and handling cash
Input client and pet data into our system
Provide detailed information about salon services, fees, and policies
Contact veterinary offices to verify vaccination records
Call clients for appointment reminders
Assist pet owners in managing pets at check-in/check-out
Maintain cleanliness and organization of front desk and lobby area
Complete assigned daily tasks independently and efficiently
Report any pet health concerns or unusual behaviors to management
What We’re Looking For:
High school diploma or GED required
Strong communication and multitasking skills
Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and general data entry
Professional appearance and positive demeanor
Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Previous experience in pet care, veterinary, or grooming reception is a plus
Schedule: Full-time; 4 days/week (10-hour shifts), Monday through Friday.
