Overview
We are a busy veterinary hospital seeking a highly organized and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Greet and welcome visitors in a professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
Manage incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate personnel while maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date records.
Schedule appointments.
Provide customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Check patients in and out
Maintain an organized front desk area, ensuring all materials are readily available for staff and visitors.
Address associated administrative tasks such as filing, scanning documents, and responding to requests from clients and other veterinary practices.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a clerical or administrative role is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
Proficient in data entry with excellent attention to detail.
Familiarity with calendar management tools and scheduling software.
Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining a professional demeanor under pressure.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
