Role Description The Formulation Assistant will support the development and refinement of skincare products by assisting with ingredient research, measuring and mixing formulations, and documenting processes and results. This full-time, on-site role based in Nungua involves preparing samples, conducting stability and compatibility tests, and maintaining a clean, organized lab environment in accordance with safety and hygiene standards. The Formulation Assistant will collaborate closely with the lead formulator to adjust formulas based on test outcomes and feedback, help source and evaluate raw materials, and ensure accurate labeling and record-keeping for all batches. The role also includes contributing to quality control checks and supporting continuous improvement of existing products.
Qualifications
• HND holder or higher
- Experience or training in laboratory work, including measuring, mixing, and handling materials with attention to safety and cleanliness.
- Strong documentation and organizational skills, with the ability to keep accurate records of formulations, test results, and batch information.
- Attention to detail, precision in following formulation procedures, and commitment to product safety and quality.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment, communicate clearly, and follow instructions reliably.
- Relevant education in science-related field is an added advantage
