About Us:
First State Urgent Vet is a privately owned veterinary urgent care practice located in Wilmington, DE. We’re proud to provide compassionate care to pets when they need it most—and we’re growing! Our clinic is open 10 AM–7 PM, 7 days a week, but please note: 7 PM is our last check-in time, not our closing time. Some evenings may run later, and flexibility is a must. As our caseload and community support continue to expand, we’re looking to add another amazing Part-Time Veterinary Receptionist (CSR) to our team.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Communicating with clients in person and over the phone with compassion and clarity.
Managing our online waitlist and multiple phone lines
Assisting with patient triage and identifying client/patient needs.
Updating client records, checking patients in and out, and handling financial transactions.
Maintaining the front office area and assisting in a variety of tasks to keep things running smoothly.
What We’re Looking For:
A great communicator who is warm, direct, and comfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Someone with a strong sense of humor and a love for client interaction.
At least 1 year of veterinary experience.
Availability for weekend shifts.
