Overview
Pet+ER seeks an experienced Emergency Veterinarian (internship trained or 2+ years in ER) to join our new hospital in Hunt Valley, MD (opened June 2023). The role requires 24‑hour emergency and critical care, including surgery, radiology, laboratory, ICU, and isolation services.
Qualifications
- Internship trained or 2+ years’ experience in emergency veterinary medicine.
- ER surgical experience required.
- Strong ability to work in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication skills with patients and owners.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency and critical care to all animal patients.
- Perform and assist in emergency surgeries.
- Use digital radiology, in‑house laboratory, and ICU protocols to diagnose and treat patients.
- Collaborate with board‑certified specialists (Surgery, Dentistry, Neurology, Canine Rehabilitation, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Cardiology) when needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure smooth handovers.
Benefits & Compensation
- Base salary $140,000–$185,000 with earning potential $200,000–$270,000 (Pro Sal model).
