Wayne Veterinary Hospital, P.A in Goldsboro, NC, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic professional to join our team as a full-time veterinary technician or technician assistant.We are a mixed animal practice (we see dogs, cats, horses, sheep, geckos, snakes, and so much more!) that specializes in providing high quality, compassionate and convenient care for our patients. We recognize the importance of the relationships between humans and animals, and we see our clients and patients as extended family.We are seeking someone with or without veterinary medicine experience. Job duties include:Assisting Doctors in roomsScribbling Doctors notesCollecting and running lab samplesAssisting with Tech appointmentsWalking dogsPreparing animals for surgeryCleaningCollecting paymentOther assigned dutiesSchedule:Rotating weekends and holidays6:45am-6:30pm Monday- Friday (some days maybe later then 6:30pm due to case load)7:00am-12:30pm and 4:00pm-5:00pm Saturdays7:00am-8:00am and 4:00pm-5:30pm Sundays40 hours a week with Monday -Friday days rotatingWe Offer:Competitive payVeterinary services at a reduced rate401k planProfit sharingJob Type: Full-timePay: From $15.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)Employee discountFlexible scheduleRetirement planWork Location: In person
