Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Customer Service Representative role based in the Ashanti Region, Ghana. The Customer Service Representative will respond to inquiries from service users, partners, and the public via phone, email, and in-person interactions, providing clear information about Nkwa’s programs and services. Daily tasks include managing incoming requests, recording and updating client information in internal systems, and ensuring timely follow-up on open issues. The role involves handling concerns with empathy, maintaining confidentiality, and coordinating with team members to resolve cases efficiently. The representative will also support administrative tasks, contribute to improving the service experience, and uphold Nkwa’s values in every interaction.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in customer service and customer support, with the ability to respond professionally and courteously to diverse inquiries.
- Experience contributing to customer satisfaction and customer experience, focusing on resolving issues and improving service quality.
- Previous involvement in roles as customer service representatives or similar positions in service-oriented environments is beneficial.
- Strong communication and active listening skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and discretion.
- Good organizational and documentation skills, including accurate data entry and follow-up tracking.
- Ability to work on-site collaboratively with colleagues and adapt to a fast-paced, community-focused setting.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with email, spreadsheets, and customer management tools.
- Relevant education or training in social services, communications, or a related field is a plus; prior experience in charity or nonprofit settings is advantageous.
