Clinic Coordinator
JOB SUMMARY
The clinic coordinator is responsible for the prep/set up, cleaning, and organization of our airport spay/neuter clinic location. This position also requires assistance on clinic days.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
Works closely with the Program Coordinator, cat trappers, and volunteers.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Assists with sterilization (spay/neuter) clinics (~50 cats per clinic day).
- Sets up before and cleans up after clinic.
- Performs various duties during clinic days including paperwork, monitoring cats recovering from anesthesia, cleaning traps and equipment, and laundry.
- Participates in check in/out of cats.
- Keeps inventory of supplies and keeps clinic stocked and organized.
- Participates in scheduling cats for trapping and sterilization clinics.
- Assists in coordinating trap loans and returns.
2. Assures all areas of the clinic are clean and sanitized, without odor, and are kept in good condition.
- Launder and dry towels and linens.
- Wash and sanitize floors and equipment.
- Clean walls, floors, sinks, windows, and other areas to ensure a sanitary and presentable environment.
3. Assists with social media posts.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Must understand trap neuter return manage (TNRM) program.
- Will be asked to communicate with the public in a professional manner.
- Detail oriented and able to multitask.
- Candidate should be highly motivated, enthusiastic and a self-starter.
- Professional attitude.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Ability to take verbal and written directions.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Proficiency with Facebook and Instagram.
- Proficiency with email.
GENERAL EXPERIENCE
- Experience with social media.
- Customer service experience.
- Familiarity or experience with mass sterilizations clinics or in a veterinary clinic is a plus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- This position requires 5 to 20 hours a week.
- Schedule varies pending clinic schedule.
- Some weekends required.
- Most work is performed on site and some from home.
- Can include working some holidays or evenings depending on needs.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Up to 10-12+ hour shifts
- Primarily standing, walking, and lifting 15-25lbs
- Lifting 20-25lbs without assistance
Pay: $20.00 per hour
