We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. Duties
Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism as they arrive at the clinic.
Schedule appointments, manage the calendar, and handle client inquiries regarding services.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans.
Process payments and manage billing inquiries efficiently.
Assist veterinary staff with animal restraint and handling during examinations or procedures.
Provide information on pet care, preventive health measures, and available services to clients.
Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming for clients and their pets.
Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure optimal patient care and client satisfaction.
Experience
Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with veterinary terminology is essential for effective communication within the clinic.
Skills in animal handling, husbandry, and restraint techniques are highly desirable.
Knowledge of laboratory procedures, aseptic techniques, and critical care practices will be considered an asset.
A passion for pet care and a commitment to providing excellent customer service are crucial for success in this role.
