Founded in 1949, the League operates the leading no-kill animal shelter and adoption center in the Tri-State area. Its mission is to reduce the number of homeless cats and dogs in Greater Cincinnati by providing a compassionate, no-kill shelter and programs that promote responsible pet care. We are looking for a Part-Time Kennel Technician to join our team of animal lovers!

This Kennel Tech position will be responsible for cleaning our shelter cat rooms, feedings and medication distribution. Our cat area consists of 17 free roaming cat rooms and catios. This position is physically demanding as you consistently bend over scooping over 50 litter boxes and lifting 40# boxes of litter and 35# bags of food. Schedule is Wednesdays 6am-2pm additional hours are available on Fridays 6am-10am and maybe eligible to cross train in other areas.

Ideal candidate must be responsible, be able to consistently bend and lift 50 lbs., pass a background check including drug test and have reliable transportation. Position requires standing for long periods of time, constant bending, kneeling and lifting.
