Job Summary:
We are seeking an Associate Medical Device Safety and Vigilance Specialist to support post-market surveillance and regulatory compliance activities for medical devices. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for recent graduates with a strong foundation in life sciences, nursing, biomedical engineering, or related healthcare disciplines. The role involves evaluating product complaints, determining regulatory reporting requirements, and ensuring timely documentation in accordance with U.S. and international regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and evaluate medical device complaints to determine reportability under regulatory guidelines
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for Medical Device Reports and global vigilance reporting
• Monitor complaint activities to support timely investigation, follow-up, and closure
• Apply regulatory policies and procedures to ensure compliance with U.S. and international requirements
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather, verify, and document complaint information
• Maintain accurate complaint records and support post-market surveillance activities
• Assist with regulatory submissions while ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timeliness
• Stay current on regulatory requirements, medical device products, and internal procedures
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to complaint handling and regulatory reporting
• Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a science-related discipline
• Zero to two years of experience in healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, clinical research, or safety evaluation
• Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with enterprise software such as SAP, Siebel, or similar systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical Neuroscience, Pre-Medicine, Pre-Veterinary, or a related life science field
• Clinical experience involving medical devices
• Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology
• Familiarity with medical device complaint handling or post-market surveillance
• Exposure to regulatory reporting processes
• Strong customer service and collaboration skills

Pay Range: $20/hr to $26/hr
