How We Work

  • Master of the Exam Room: We believe in the “slow-down to speed-up” philosophy. You’ll have 30+ minute slots to connect with clients and form relationships, not just rush through a checklist.
  • True Collaboration: We don’t do isolated islands here. Our doctors love to bounce ideas off each other, collaborate on tricky cases, and share knowledge to provide the best possible care.
  • The Tech Arsenal: You’ll have all the gadgets: in-house IDEXX labs, digital and dental X-ray, ultrasound, and both surgical and therapy lasers.
  • Floor General: We move as a unit. Our floor is built on teamwork and a “no task is too small” mentality. You’ll be supported by a team that proactively jumps in to help with blood draws and X-rays so the day stays smooth.
  • Calm & Collected: We utilize low-stress handling techniques—it’s better for the pets and for your stress levels.

The Perks

  • Salary: $120,000+ with Production Bonuses for Full-Time with experience (Prorated based on your experience and number of days worked).
  • Part Time Benefits: Simple IRA with 3% match, Employee Assistance Program, group rates with Aflac and generous employee discounts for your personal pets.
  • Full Time Benefits: Comprehensive health/dental/vision coverage, Paid Holidays & PTO, plus all part-time benefits listed above.
  • Growth Budget: Annual stipend for CE, plus coverage for your Kansas License, DEA registration, and professional dues.

The “Real Life” Schedule

  • Flexible Scheduling: We prioritize your well-being with flexible schedules. Choose between part-time (2.5–3 days/week) or full-time (3.5–4.5 days/week) roles to ensure a healthy, sustainable work-life balance.
  • The Hours: Our doors close at 5:30pm on weekdays and 12:00pm sharp on Saturday. Rotating Saturdays are required.
  • The Balance: No late nights, no emergency on-call, and a schedule that respects your life outside the clinic.

Who Fits Best?

We’re looking for someone driven, compassionate, and ready to lead with a positive attitude. With us, you’ll find a respectful environment where your expertise is valued and you have the autonomy to practice medicine your way.

  • The Essentials: DVM degree, a Kansas license in good standing, and a heart for people as much as pets.
