Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Associate Veterinarian, located in North Bay, ON. The Associate Veterinarian will deliver high-quality medical care to a variety of animals, including conducting diagnostic exams, performing surgical and dental procedures, and overseeing treatment plans. This role involves building strong relationships with pet owners, educating them about their pets’ health, and providing compassionate care. Additional responsibilities include maintaining patient records, collaborating with the veterinary team, and ensuring compliance with best practices and clinical standards.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills, including diagnosis, treatment planning, surgical procedures, and dental care
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for client education and collaboration with team members
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate patient records and knowledge of veterinary software systems
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and the ability to adapt to new practices and technologies
- Holds a general license to practice veterinary medicine in Ontario, or eligibility to obtain
- Experience working in small animal practices is an asset
- Compassionate, detail-oriented, and dedicated to providing high-quality care to animals
