Responsibilities
- Greet clients and visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service while managing appointment scheduling and check-in/check-out procedures.
- Handle medical billing and collections efficiently, ensuring accurate processing of payments and insurance claims.
- Maintain detailed veterinary records using veterinary software, ensuring compliance with confidentiality standards.
- Manage phone inquiries, relay messages accurately, and coordinate appointments to optimize clinic workflow.
Skills
- Strong understanding of veterinary terminology, medical-surgical procedures, and companion animal medicine.
- Proficiency in veterinary software systems such as AVImark, along with Microsoft Office applications for administrative tasks.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction, explaining pet care instructions clearly and empathetically.
- Prior experience in a veterinary clinic setting or front desk role is highly desirable.
