East Mountain Veterinary Service is seeking an associate veterinarian for a full-time position, either in mixed or small animal practice. The role requires working 4 days a week with one week and one night of on-call duty per month.

Responsibilities include:

Wellness exams, vaccinations, basic spays and neuters

Advanced surgeries

Treatment of hospitalized and critical patients

Care of some exotics and small mammals

Shifts are 12-15 hours per day. The position offers a base salary of $120,000 per year with a 20% commission after the first 6 months, 2 paid weekends of vacation per year, CE stipends, and association dues.

We are located in central New Mexico, just 20 minutes east of Albuquerque on I-40, providing access to all the amenities of Albuquerque and Santa Fe.

Basic Veterinarian

Duties include:

Lift up to 50 lbs

Stand and climb stairs daily

Lead a group of 2 to 3 technicians
