Company Description RIDGEHILL ANIMAL HOSPITAL PC is a veterinary practice based at 430 State Street in North Haven, Connecticut, United States. We are looking for two new associates full or part time for our recently renovated North Haven location. The hospital is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality medical care to companion animals in the local community. Team members work closely with clients to support the health and well-being of their pets through preventive care, diagnostics, and treatment. The practice values professionalism, clear communication, and collaborative problem-solving in a supportive clinical environment.
We are a group of 4 small animal hospitals. Our practices located in North Haven, Hamden and Killingworth CT. They are privately owned , not a corporation. dentistry and surgery with digital radiography, ultrasound, anesthetic monitors, doppler, tonopen and full in house diagnostic laboratory. We have visiting ultrasonographer, surgeon and cardiologist comes weekly. We offer excellent salary and benefits (health, dental,vision insurance, professional dues, continuing education, liability insurance, license fees, retirement plan with company match, PTO and holiday pay). 4 day work week (for full time), no overnight or on call and closed Sundays and Holidays (several 24 hour emergency and specialty referral centers are close by). - Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree from an accredited institution and eligibility for Connecticut veterinary licensure.
- Experience in small animal medicine and surgery, including routine procedures, diagnostics, and treatment planning.
- Strong clinical judgment, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to evidence-based veterinary care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients and collaborating with veterinary staff.
- Ability to manage multiple cases effectively, maintain detailed medical records, and follow hospital protocols.
- Demonstrated compassion, professionalism, and dedication to animal welfare and client service.
- Willingness to participate in continuing education, stay current with advances in veterinary medicine, and adapt to new technologies.
- Previous experience in a general practice or similar clinical setting is preferred but not required; new graduates are welcome to apply.
