ATX Animal Clinic is a privately owned, one doctor small animal practice located in the beautiful Northwest Hills neighborhood of Austin, Texas, just 10 minutes north of downtown. We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Associate Veterinarian to join our growing team.

Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will:
- Diagnose and treat sick or injured companion animals
- Perform physical examinations, diagnostic testing, and interpret laboratory and radiographic findings
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
- Perform routine and soft tissue surgical procedures
- Educate clients on preventive medicine, nutrition, wellness, and disease prevention
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
- Ensure compliance with veterinary medical standards, ethics, and applicable regulations
- Operate diagnostic equipment, including digital radiography
- Perform humane euthanasia when medically appropriate, providing compassionate care and client support
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent)
- Current Texas veterinary license in good standing (or ability to obtain prior to employment)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate medicine
- Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a collaborative team environment
- New graduates are encouraged to apply; mentorship is available
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $100,000–$130,000 annually
Compensation is based on experience, particularly proficiency in soft tissue surgery, and is negotiable as your experience grows.

Schedule
- Full-time
- Four 10-hour shifts
- Monday through Friday
