Role Description The Assistant Warehouse Manager is a full-time, on-site position based in Yangon Region, Myanmar. This role supports daily warehouse operations, including overseeing goods receiving, storage, and dispatch to ensure accurate and timely stock handling. The position involves monitoring inventory levels, coordinating stock counts, maintaining proper documentation, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and safety standards. The Assistant Warehouse Manager collaborates with the Warehouse Manager and cross-functional teams to optimize space utilization, improve workflows, and resolve operational issues. The role also includes supervising warehouse staff, guiding forklift and material handling activities, and assisting in implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Stock Control and Inventory Control to manage stock accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
- Candidates should possess skills in Inventory Management and Operations Management to support efficient warehouse processes and resource planning.
- Candidates should possess skills in Forklift Operation and other material handling practices to ensure safe and effective movement of goods.
- Relevant experience in warehouse or logistics management, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing environments.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination abilities.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and proficiency with warehouse management systems or related software.
- Ability to work on-site in Yangon Region, Myanmar and adapt to a fast-paced operational setting.
