Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective product management strategies to strengthen product branding and market positioning in the Animal Health Division (AHD).
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify business opportunities, develop competitive strategies, and increase market share.
- Coordinate and communicate regularly with the field sales force to ensure effective execution of sales and marketing strategies.
- Organize and conduct training programs for new and existing field sales personnel to enhance their product knowledge, technical expertise, and selling skills.
- Visit potential prescribers, consultants, veterinary professionals, and farms to generate product demand and strengthen customer relationships.
- Organize and conduct Doctors` Group Meetings (DGM), Rural Veterinary Practitioners` Group Meetings (RVPGM), and Farmers` Group Meetings (FGM) with prior management approval, as per the annual activity calendar.
- Collect customer feedback, handle complaints, monitor market trends, and maintain up-to-date information on products and competitors` activities.
- Develop packaging designs for new and existing products, and prepare promotional materials such as brochures, leaflets, stickers, posters, show cards, product profiles, and other marketing literature as required.
- Coordinate with distributors to ensure the smooth and timely distribution of products in the market.
- Proactively manage and resolve issues related to sales and marketing operations to achieve business objectives.
- Perform any other duties or responsibilities assigned by the Head of Department (HoD) or Management from time to time.
Requirements
- Experience: 5 years
- Education: doctor of veterinary medicine (dvm)
- Skills: pharmaceutical marketing, pharmaceutical sales, pharmacy operations, pharmaceutical research, pharmaceutical industry, pharmacy sales, pharmaceuticals, hospital pharmacy
