Full Job Description
Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital is seeking qualified applicants in our search for an Admissions Representative in our Admissions Department/Metropolitan Veterinary Academy.
The Admissions Representative will be responsible for using inside and outside sales techniques to maximize student recruitment for veterinary assistant career school. Conducts community presentations and prospective student interviews to secure enrollments. Also provide classroom instruction to students if holds current license as a Registered Veterinary Technician.
Pay:
Based on experience and education.
Schedule:
Monday thru Friday 10am-7pm; Saturdays as needed.
Must be willing to come in earlier or later than established shift as needed for prospective student interviews.
May require up to 50 hours a week to prepare for compliance inspections/audits.

Able to meet time-sensitive deadlines and fulfill established student recruitment goals each term.
Able to enthusiastically drive the success of a start-up business.
Has solid, friendly, and confident communications skills.
Is team oriented, takes initiative, and possesses superior problem -solving skills.
Requires proficient writing capabilities and dynamic presentation skills.
Must be a self-starter with excellent time management techniques.
Must be flexible, resilient, and able to overcome obstacles.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of animal health and the veterinary industry obtained through experience as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
Education and Experience:
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, or similar industry
Preferred qualifications: Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology and current RVT license, along with a minimum of four years of work experience as an RVT.
