1. PURPOSE OF POSITION / ROLE
• Responsible for demand generation, strategy development, relationship building, and business plan development with Corporate Farms and Professional Farm Management Firms in assigned area.
• Respond to Key Account’s technical issues effectively and rapidly to increase reliability of company products, maximize sales opportunities and maintain customer satisfaction
2. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ethical Standard
• Exemplify Zoetis Values, Leadership Behaviors, and Zoetis Code of Business Conduct in all actions and report any breaches of above standards
• Ensure that all sales organization conduct above ethical standards
Financial Performance
• Responsible for management of team budget and profitability
Allocation of Resources
• Effectively coordinate meetings of the sales team and marketing Managers in groups to achieve synergies and promote best practices
• Focus technical events on customers who represent the maximum potential to the company
Strategies & Policies
• Manage technical support in accordance with the sales policies & strategies
• Support Marketing team to develop novel/differential value added sales strategies
Target Setting
• Set target based on customers and products to achieve company objectives
• Make periodic sales forecasts as instructed Lead Key account manager
Cross-functional Coordination
• Provide marketing, technical and regulatory support to the team
• Liaise with Regulatory Director to ensure sales activities are in compliance with relevant regulations
Coaching & Training
• Develop tactics and best practices for the team members of sales organization to conduct themselves in a manner consistent with Zoetis Values
• Identify and address coaching and training needs of the sales organization in conjunction with District Sales Managers, Technical Service Managers and Training Manager
Customer Relations
• Lead and manage relationships with key accounts and build and grow a strong network amongst opinion leaders
• Build and maintain database/tracking system in order to systematically track relationships over time
Market information
• Ensure accuracy and relevance of information including Zoetis product feedback (e.g. adverse events) reported by team members
• Provide market information to senior management in a timely and efficient manner
Communication
• Develop culture of information sharing among teams and clearly communicate all company policies, procedures and business practices to internal and external customers
• Periodically report sales results to LS BU Director and immediately report any urgent, important issues to LS BU Director
3. SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Education: 4-year university or advanced degree, Veterinary Medicine or Zoology preferred
• Experience: 3 + of which must have been spent in sales in a health science, chemical and/or pharmaceutical related industry. (Preferred in animal healthcare industry)
• License: Veterinarian preferred
• Languages Skill: Native Korean, fluent reading, writing, speaking in English
• Presentation: Superior presentations and public speaking skills
• Negotiation and Sales skill: Strong negotiation and sales skills
• Business Knowledge: Strong business sense and understanding of cross-functional areas, including marketing, finance, operations, human resources, etc.
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate on an individual and team level
• Network: Key contacts across the industry and customer base
