Position: Wildfire Management Coordinator Role

In this crucial role, you will assist in the development of wildfire resiliency initiatives and coordinate prescribed burning activities. Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate planning and delivery of wildfire management projects
• Develop Community Wildfire Resiliency Plans and risk assessments
• Help coordinate documentation for prescribed burns
• Maintain records and ensure compliance with regulations
• Organize communications and schedules for field teams
Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in wildfire management
• Education in Forestry or related field preferred
• Knowledge of prescribed burning and wildfire regulation
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Valid Class 5 BC driver’s license for travel and fieldwork
