Responsibilities:
Primary duties include handling daycare and boarding guests; feeding, watering, and administering pet medications; cleaning potty areas; cleaning and sanitizing kennels/suites/dorms; and general cleaning/general housekeeping. This is a physically demanding role, but it can be gratifying if you’re up for the challenge! (If you don’t enjoy being active, this will not fit you.)
Effectivley handling K-9s, and supervising K-9s throughout the shift.
This role offers a unique and gratifying opportunity to work with K-9s of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. It’s a chance to make a real difference in the lives of these animals and their owners.
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years or older
Must have strong time-management skills
Humanely handle, with patience and ease, dogs of all breeds and sizes
Able to lift and carry at least 40 lbs. with no restrictions
Must be physically active (bending, crouching, walking, lifting, etc.)
Have an acute attention to detail (imperative with administrating medication)
Multi-task successfully and prioritize time and duties
Responsible/prompt/dependable
Work well independently and as a team member
Motivated/hard-working/sound work ethic
Must be able to work well alone (without constant direction/supervision)
Must have a valid Drivers License
Should live within a thirty (30) minute drive of Fishers/Northeast Indianapolis (MUST have a vehicle to be considered)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 per week
