Waterfront Crew Jobs in Fort Worth, Texas, USA at CHRISTIAN CAMP AND CONFERENCE ASSOCIATION
POSITION SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: The Waterfront Crew is responsible for managing and maintaining the pond.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Facilitate pond activities including swimming, kayaking, water slide, blob, and rope swing.
Monitor the weather to ensure it is safe to be in the water.
Survey a body of water and conduct rescues to help weak or injured swimmers get to safety.
Use knowledge of first aid to save lives.
Enforce the pond rules as needed.
Set up and clean up before and after pond activities.
Work with Facilities to ensure nothing needs to be fixed around or in the pond.
Ensure all campers wear a life jacket, regardless of their age.
Assist adventure element crew with activities.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Actively live and practice the Christian faith and live a lifestyle in accordance with the Statement of Faith and Beliefs detailed on the Beartooth Christian Camp website.
Lifeguard Certification
Ability to be trained and certified on adventure elements.
Ability to maintain a safe work environment.
Maintain a friendly, caring, and serving attitude.
High attention to detail.
Ability to work well with others.
Ability to manage camper behavior.
CPR and First Aid Certification (provided)
Criminal Background Check (provided)
Time: Full-Time Seasonal
