Enhance visitor experiences at Daly House Museum’s Victorian Garden in Brandon, Manitoba. As a Garden Program Worker, you will assist in garden maintenance and event facilitation.
Daly House Museum is inviting applications for a Garden Program Worker role focused on maintaining our beautiful Victorian Garden. This position includes planting, mowing, weeding, and collaborating with volunteers. You will assist in organizing the garden shed and help with garden programs and their evaluations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with maintaining planting schedules and garden aesthetics
• Manage and organize garden tools efficiently
• Work cooperatively with volunteers to accomplish tasks
• Support the planning of garden-related programs
• Engage in the evaluation process for continuous improvement
Requirements:
• Must possess physical endurance for various gardening tasks
• Capability to lift heavy and large gardening supplies
• Willingness to adapt to weather conditions for outdoor work
• CPR and First Aid certifications are an asset
• Demonstrated communication skills in English with others
