Pay
: $24.50 – $47.05 / hour
This pay band is a starting point and depends on experience and advancement through the Kahuna leveling system. We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked during nights and weekends.
* Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum.
Examples of shift differentials:
Mon – Fri: 6pm to 8am = $4.00
Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $5.50
Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $4.00
As a Surgery Technician, you will:
Prepare patients for surgery
Safely restrain patients for procedures
Place intravenous catheters in peripheral veins
Perform phlebotomy
Perform local nerve blocks
Prepare slides for cytology
Proficiently perform digital radiographs
Monitor patients during anesthesia or sedation
Perform advanced imaging such as CT scans and MRI procedures
Mentor and train other team members
Address client concerns with patience and empathy
