Veterinary Technician (LVT/RVT)
Minimum of 1 year experience required.
License is REQUIRED.
Responsibilities:
– Assist veterinarians and other technicians in providing medical care to animals
– Perform routine procedures such as administering vaccinations and medications with veterinarian approval.
– Demonstrate skills and knowledge of the veterinary field and practice learned through curriculum
– Prepare animals for surgery and monitor vitals during surgical procedures
– Conduct laboratory tests and analyze samples
– Provide nursing care to hospitalized animals
– Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment
– Maintain accurate medical records
-Monitor pets under general anesthesia
-Monitor pets recovering from surgery
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of in clinic, Veterinary Medicine experience
Technician License required
– Previous experience working as a veterinary technician is required
– Knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and behavior
– Familiarity with veterinary equipment and tools
– Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and effectively
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
– Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $13.00 – $18.00 per hour
