*Job Overview*
For this role we are looking for an Experienced Veterinary Technician or Experienced Veterinary Assistant that is currently enrolled in school. Must be comfortable working in a fast moving team.
The ideal candidate has a compassionate, caring, manner. Must be a self started with a high aptitude for personal accountability. Attitude is key. Dependable and consistent is a must. Would consider applicants for part time or full time positions.
Salary can be negotiated based on license and experience level.

*Duties*
– Assist veterinarians in medical procedures and surgeries
– Perform laboratory tests such as blood work and urinalysis
– Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
– Conduct X-rays and assist with diagnostic imaging procedures
– Handle and restrain animals during examinations and treatments, we are in the process of getting fear free certified.
– Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
– Provide post-operative care and monitoring
– Assist with keeping the hospital clean and organized.
*Qualifications*
– Certification as a Veterinary Technician/ or must be currently enrolled in LVT school
– Proficiency in laboratory procedures and equipment operation
– Knowledge of veterinary critical care practices
– Familiarity with animal catheterization techniques
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 – $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
