We’re a busy, multi-doctor small animal veterinary clinic in charming Fairfax, Marin County: Voted Best in Marin two years in a row (and counting!). Seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant or Technician to join our fun-loving, hard-working crew. We’re open to part-time or full-time applicants.
Must-have: At least 1 year of experience in the veterinary field.
Our mission is simple: provide top-notch care to our patients while making sure their humans feel just as well cared for. We treat dogs, cats, pocket pets, and exotics. If you can get your pet through our doors, we’d love to take care of them!

Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Handle and restrain animals safely during examinations and treatments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the clinic, including kennels and treatment areas.
- Prepare animals for surgery, including administering pre-operative medications and monitoring vital signs.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, such as blood draws and urinalysis.
- Provide post-operative care, including monitoring recovery and administering medications as directed.
We ask all potential applicant’s to have a good work ethic, ability to show up to shifts on schedule and a great work attitude and love to work with animals. Must be able to work some/most Saturdays. Please reply with your interest by email. Include your resume/CV and cover letter.
