About the Cardiology/Oncology Technician Role
We are looking to add a Cardiology/Oncology Technician to our growing hospital! This hybrid position will provide support in two departments.
In Cardiology, you will coordinate patient care, assist with diagnostics, and ensuring high-quality treatment plans. In Oncology, you will join a team providing compassionate care, administering treatments, and supporting specialized oncology procedures.
Schedule & Compensation
Schedule: Monday & Tuesday (Cardiology) 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Wednesday & Thursday (Oncology) 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Compensation: Starting at $23/hour
What You’ll Do
Provide compassionate, high-quality patient care in both the Cardiology and Oncology departments
Assist with diagnostics, treatments, and patient monitoring
Work closely with specialists and hospital staff to maintain seamless patient care
Communicate effectively with clients, veterinarians, and team members
Utilize Fear Free handling techniques to create a stress-free environment for patients
Requirements:
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in veterinary medicine (specialty experience preferred)
Current CVT/LVT/RVT preferred or educational equivalent
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medications, and disease processes
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
Proficient computer skills
