Are you a dedicated veterinary technician with a passion for oncology and long-term patient care? At Blue Pearl Kirkland, we believe in providing exceptional care while fostering lasting bonds with our clients and their beloved pets. We’re looking for a compassionate and skilled veterinary technician to join our dynamic medical oncology service! Not sure what a day in oncology is like, or have pre-conceived notions?

Minimum Requirements:
Valid Veterinary Technician license in Washington State (license transfer from outside states must be completed before hire)
Compensation and Benefits:
Sign-on bonus: Up to $2,000 for qualified candidates
Hourly pay: $25.60 – $36.80, dependent on experience and Kahuna leveling system
Shift differentials for nights and weekends, based on hours worked
Example shift differentials:
Mon – Fri: 6pm to 8am = $4.00
Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $5.50
Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $4.00
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7am-5pm
Role Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate cancer care, including diagnosis, staging, and treatment (chemo, immunotherapy, electrochemotherapy, clinical trials)
Build relationships with pets and owners, guiding them through emotional and treatment decisions
Assist veterinary oncologists with diagnostics, treatments, and patient monitoring
Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, and home care
