We are a busy, 5-doctor AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital located on the Nassau/Queens border, dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to our patients and outstanding service to our clients. Our team is supportive, skilled, and committed to excellence in veterinary medicine.
We are seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our collaborative and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is experienced, reliable, and passionate about animal health. This individual should be comfortable working independently, capable of assessing and triaging patients, and eager to contribute to a high-performing team.
Responsibilities:
Perform dental procedures including scaling, polishing, and taking dental radiographs
Assess and triage patients independently with accuracy and confidence
Assist in surgical procedures and monitor anesthesia using established protocols
Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
Provide excellent client communication and education
Maintain detailed and accurate medical records
Ensure a clean, organized, and well-stocked work environment
Qualifications:
Active New York State LVT license
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a licensed technician
Proficiency in dentistry, anesthesia monitoring, and patient triage
Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy hospital setting

Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
