We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for animal care and welfare, along with the technical skills necessary to assist veterinarians in providing high-quality medical care to a variety of animals. This role is essential in ensuring the health and well-being of our patients while supporting pet owners through their veterinary experience.
Responsibilities
Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment is prepared and sterile.
Perform routine laboratory tests, including blood work, urinalysis, and fecal exams.
Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
Monitor animal patients’ vital signs and behavior during procedures and recovery.
Provide proper restraint techniques for animals during examinations and treatments.
Educate pet owners on animal care, nutrition, and preventative health measures.
Maintain accurate medical records for each patient, documenting treatments and observations.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic or hospital environment.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of veterinary practices, animal anatomy, and dental terminology.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members.
Ability to perform animal restraint safely and humanely.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $14.00 – $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
