Duties
Assist the veterinarian during mobile visits, providing hands-on support for examinations, treatments, and procedures.
Manage medical records, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient care.
Communicate effectively with pet owners, educating them on preventive care and treatment plans.
Perform routine laboratory tests
Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian.
Maintain and manage mobile clinic equipment and inventory, including the mobile vehicle.
Skills
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or equivalent qualification preferred but not required
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical veterinary setting.
Strong technical skills, including phlebotomy and catheter placement.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a mobile environment.
Valid driver’s license and comfort with traveling throughout the Los Angeles area.
