Veterinary Technician (Experience required) – Full-Time | AAHA Hospital Jobs in Harleysville, PA at Harleysville Veterinary Hospital
We are looking to hire Credentialed or Experienced Veterinary Technicians to join our busy privately owned, AAHA-accredited small animal hospital in Harleysville, PA. You’ll work alongside 14 veterinarians in a supportive, team-focused environment with opportunities to improve your technical skills.
Available Shifts
- First Shift: 7am–2pm + 2 weekend shifts/month (self-scheduled)
- Second Shift: 2pm–9pm +2 weekend shifts/month (self-scheduled)
Duties May Include:
- Phlebotomy and IV catheter placement
- Radiology (X-ray)
- Laboratory procedures
- Patient care (routine, critical, and exotics)
- Patient triage
- Client communication and education
- Medical recordkeeping (EMR)
- Potential anesthesia induction & monitoring
- Potential dental prophylaxis and dental radiographs
Qualifications
- Veterinary Technician experience required
- CVT, LVT, or RVT preferred
- Strong skills in anesthesia, surgery, and patient care
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced hospital
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and Windows-based systems
