is hiring experienced Overnight Veterinary Technicians to work in our busy Emergency and Critical Care department.

Pay: $20 – $40 / hour
This pay band depends on experience and advancement through our Career Trax leveling system.

As an Emergency Veterinary Technician, you will:
Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia in patients, using anesthesia/monitoring equipment.
Triage emergency cases upon arrival, including obtaining vitals such as temperature, heart rate, respiratory rate, and blood pressure.
Perform digital radiography with proper technique and patient positioning.
Understand normal ranges of patient vital signs and interpret blood pressure and other vital signs, alerting veterinarians to changes.
Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR.
Calculate medical dosages, including infusions, and administer medications appropriately.
Perform phlebotomy and place intravenous catheters in peripheral vessels.
Place and maintain feeding tubes and central line catheters.
Mentor and train colleagues.
Address client concerns with patience and empathy.
